The following communication, dated and
received on 12 January 2024, is being circulated at the request of the
delegation of Australia.

Australia's 2023 new and full
notification provides details on federal programs and state/territory programs
for financial years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023
(the financial year being from 1 July to 30 June).
In some cases, it is arguable whether
these programs are specific within the meaning of the Agreement on Subsidies
and Countervailing Measures.
Programs are included for the sake of
transparency and without prejudice to the legal status, effects or nature of
the measures under the WTO Agreement
