NOTIFICATION

The following submission, dated 16 December 2025, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Norway. The notification concerns imports under tariff quotas (Table MA:2) during the Calendar Year 2024.

The import data in this document provides the Table MA:2 notification for 2024. As in previous Norwegian MA:2 notifications, both our minimum access quotas and the current access quotas for meat to promotional fairs, sheep meat, meat of game, cheese, natural honey, apples, pears, hay, turkey roll and corned beef are included in the notification. These are the only quotas where the in‑quota tariff is lower than the bound MFN tariff. For all other quotas included in Norway's Schedule (Schedule XIV – Norway accessible at Schedules eLibrary), Norway fulfills its market access commitments with a tariff-only regime, as the bound MFN tariff has been at the level of the in-quota tariff as of 2000 when the implementation period of the Uruguay round ended. A tariff-only regime has thus been applied from 2000 and onwards. To ensure readability of the MA:2 notification, these quotas are not a part of the notification.
