NOTIFICATION

Corrigendum

The following submission, dated 15 April 2024, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Canada. The corrigendum concerns total exports (Table ES:2) in the context of export subsidy commitments for the Calendar Year 2022.

The present corrigendum rectifies the quantity of total exports for Coarse Grains (CANX002) and Live animals listed under Table ES:2. The values should read as follows:

·_        Coarse grains (CANX002): 7,629,716 Tonnes

·_        Live animals: 23,052,652 Number

 

Table ES:2 is reproduced below. The modified values are highlighted in bold.

General Notes:

•_         Description of products: The range of products in each category (except pork) is that which is contained in Canada's Schedule V, Part IV, Section II: Export Subsidies: Budgetary Outlay and Quantity Reduction Commitments, Annex I.

•_         Quantity of total exports: Export data from Statistics Canada.

•_         Live animals are reported in number of heads and not tonnes.

Notes:

(1)          As required by _G/AG/2/Add.1, Canada is notifying total exports of pork. Trade data for pork includes pork and pork products found in Chapter 2 of the Harmonized System.

(2)          Canada is voluntarily applying Annex 1, Members Having a share exceeding 5% in Total World Exports and providing information regarding its exports of bovine meat in the format as indicated in Annex 2 contained in Review of the List of Significant Exporters, Report by the Chairperson (_G/AG/W/123).

(3)          Canada is voluntarily applying Annex 1, Members Having a share exceeding 5% in Total World Exports and providing information regarding its exports of live animals in the format as indicated in Annex 2 contained in Review of the List of Significant Exporters, Report by the Chairperson (_G/AG/W/123).
