The following communication, dated and received on 11 May 2025, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Sri Lanka.

Pursuant to Article 16.5 of the Agreement on Implementation of Article VI of the GATT 1994 (Anti‑dumping Agreement) and Article 25.12 of the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka hereby notifies the establishment of the Trade Remedy Unit under the Department of Commerce, which is the authority competent in Sri Lanka to initiate and conduct anti-dumping and countervailing investigations.
