Pursuant to Article 32.6 of the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures and Article 18.5 of the Agreement on Implementation of Article VI of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1994, the United States hereby notifies:

Regulations Improving and Strengthening the Enforcement of Trade Remedies Through the Administration of the Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Laws, 89 Fed. Reg. 20766 (Mar. 25, 2024).

The United States is amending its regulations to enhance, improve and strengthen its enforcement and administration of the antidumping duty and countervailing duty laws. Specifically, the U.S. Department of Commerce is revising some of its procedures, codifying certain areas of its practice, and enhancing certain areas of its methodologies and analyses to address price and cost distortions, as well as certain countervailable subsidies, in different capacities.

The regulations are effective April 24, 2024.
