ANNUAL REPORT OF THE Committee on trade in
financial services
TO THE COUNCIL FOR TRADE IN SERVICES (2020)
1.1. Since its previous Annual Report to the Council for Trade in
Services[1],
the Committee on Trade in Financial Services held one formal meeting, on 14
July 2020.[2]
1.2. The purpose of the meeting was to follow-up on the thematic seminar
on "FinTech: Trade, Financial Inclusion and Development" organized by
the Committee on 13 and 14 July 2020.[3]
At the meeting, some Members shared their domestic experiences in the area of
Fintech, whilst others suggested topics for further discussion.

and should be read in conjunction with this report.
