The China-Maldives Free Trade Agreement consists of 15 chapters, in addition to the Preamble, which are as follows: General Provisions, General Definitions, Trade in Goods, Rules of Origin and Origin Implementation Procedures, Customs Procedures and Trade Facilitation, Technical Barriers to Trade and Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures, Trade Remedies, Trade in Services, Investment, Economic and Technical Cooperation, Transparency, Administrative and Institutional Provisions, Dispute Settlement, Exceptions, and Final Provisions.
