Brief description of the Agreement: 

Within the framework of Türkiye-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), a preferential trade and investment area is created for the parties at the bilateral level through Chapters such as trade in goods, trade in services and investment facilitation.

 

Türkiye-UAE CEPA aims to increase and enhance economic cooperation; to promote the expansion of trade through the harmonious development of the economic relations between the Parties; to gradually eliminate difficulties and restrictions on trade and investment between the Parties so as to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of their respective sectors; to establish a framework of transparent and predictable rules to facilitate trade as well as the movement of business persons between the Parties.
