Notifications Pursuant to Article XVII:4(a) of the GATT 1994 and
Paragraph 1 of the Understanding on the Interpretation of Article XVII

The following communication, dated 12 November 2018, is being circulated at the request of the Delegation of Georgia.

Pursuant to Article XVII:4(a) of the GATT 1994, and Paragraph 1 of the Understanding on the Interpretation of Article XVII, and in response to the notification requirements contained in documents G/STR/N/16 and G/STR/N/17 covering the notification periods 2014/2015 and 2016/2017, the Government of Georgia wishes to notify that Georgia does not maintain any state trading enterprises falling within the meaning of the working definition contained in Paragraph 1 of the above-mentioned Understanding.
