Coming into effect of the prohibition on the use of partially hydrogenated oils (PHOs) in foods

The prohibition notified in G/SPS/N/CAN/1104/Add.1 (dated 21 September 2017) came into effect on 17 September 2018, following the addition of PHOs to Part 1 of Health Canada's List of Contaminants and Other Adulterating Substances in Foods.

This addendum concerns a:
