Invocation of paragraph 5 of Article XXVIII

The following communication, dated 19 December 2017, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Mali.

I hereby submit the request of the Government of Mali to reserve the right to renegotiate tariffs pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 5 of Article XXVIII of the GATT 1994, so as to modify Mali's Schedule of Concessions during the three‑year period commencing on 1 January 2018.
