The following communication, dated 6 July 2012, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Guatemala.

In accordance with Article XVII:4(a) of the GATT 1994 and paragraph 1 of the Understanding on the Interpretation of Article XVII, and pursuant to the notification requirements in documents G/STR/N/9, G/STR/N/10, G/STR/N/11, G/STR/N/12, G/STR/N/13 and G/STR/N/14, Guatemala hereby notifies that, in the reporting periods 2003 to 2012, it has not maintained any State trading enterprises within the meaning of the working definition in the above
