QUESTIONS FOR AUSTRALIA REGARDING ITS NOTIFICATION ON THE PLAIN PACKAGING BILL (G/TBT/N/AUS/67)
The following communication, dated 9 June 2011, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Cuba.

The delegation of the Republic of Cuba wishes to ask Australia the following questions regarding the Plain Packaging Bill notified in document G/TBT/N/AUS/67 on 8 April 2011.
Has Australia quantified the trade impact of this measure?
If so, can Australia provide the TBT Committee with a trade impact study?
If not, can Australia ensure that the impact of the measure on developing countries such as Cuba, which is also a small economy, will not be disproportionate?
Has Australia consulted trade or development experts on the trade and development impact of the proposed measure?
If so, can Australia share the resul
