FEDERAL ACQUISITION
REGULATION implementing the American Recovery and
Reinvestment
Act of 2009 Pursuant to Article XXIV:5(b)
of the Agreement
The
Interim Federal Acquisition Regulation to implement the "Buy
American" provision in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
(ARRA) ("Interim FAR Rule") was circulated to the Committee on 24
April 2009 in GPA/98. The Interim FAR
Rule has been amended and a Final FAR Rule has been adopted. The Final FAR Rule was published in the Federal Register on August 30, 2010
(see 75 FR 53153-53169).

XXIV:5(b) reads as follows: National
Legislation "(b) Each
Party shall inform the Committee of any changes in its laws and regulations
relevant to this Agreement and in the administration of such laws and
regulations."
