The following communication, dated 31 March 2005, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Rwanda on behalf of the African Group. This comprises a statement made by Rwanda on behalf of the African Group during the TRIPS Council meeting held on 31 March under the agenda item "Decision on the Implementation of Paragraph 6 of the Doha Declaration on the TRIPS Agreement and Public Health".
