Transitional Review Mechanism Pursuant to Paragraph 18 of the Protocol of Accession of the People's Republic of China to the World Trade Organization
Report of the Chairperson to the General Council
Pursuant to paragraph 18 of China’s Protocol of Accession (WT/L/432), the Committee on Balance-of-payments Restrictions held its second annual review under China’s Transitional Review Mechanism at its meeting on 13 November 2003.
The Committee had before it written questions from Chinese Taipei circulated in advance of the meeting in WT/BOP/W/25.
The statements made at the meeting of 13 November, where China's transitional review was item A of the agenda, are reflected in WT/BOP/R/71.
