Description of content: The Republic of Korea is proposing to amend the "Regulation on Energy Efficiency Management Equipment".

The main changes proposed  are:

1.    Adjustment of standards for energy efficiency: Refrigerators, Air conditioners, Window-sets, Television sets

2.    Indication of standards for medium- and long-term target energy efficiency: Refrigerators,  Air conditioners, Television sets

3.    Any manufacturer or importer of air conditioners shall indicate the Cooling  Seasonal Performance Factor (CSPF) on the energy efficiency labeling
