Description of content: Based on Regulation (EU) 2022/2388, maximum levels for the four perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS): perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA), perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS) and their sum were introduced for various foodstuffs of animal origin.
