Description: In 2019, the Washington State Legislature directed the Washington Department of Ecology, in consultation with the Washington Department of Health, to implement a regulatory program to reduce toxic chemicals in consumer products (Chapter 70A.350 RCW9F). The program, called Safer Products for Washington, is implemented through a four-phase cycle that repeats every five years. This legislative report provides a brief overview of priority consumer products in cycle 2, phase 2 of Safer Products for Washington implementation. This publication is the legislative companion to the Technical Supporting Documentation for Priority Products Report, Safer Products for Washington Cycle 2, Phase 2.
