Communication from Australia

The following communication, dated 26 November 2024, was received from the delegation of Australia with the request that it be circulated to the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB).

Australia wishes to inform the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) that, consistent with the agreement reached under Article 21.3(b) of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes notified to the DSB on 12 June 2024, Australia requires an extension of one month to implement the DSB's recommendations and rulings in DS603. The reasonable period of time will therefore expire on 10 January 2025.

Australia has separately informed China, and requests that you circulate this communication to the DSB.
