Description: Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and
Uganda would like to inform WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard;
DEAS 324: 2023, Copper/chromium/arsenic compositions for the preservation of
timber — Method for timber treatment, Second Edition; notified in
G/TBT/N/BDI/361, G/TBT/N/KEN/1441, G/TBT/N/RWA/872, G/TBT/N/TZA/975 and
G/TBT/N/UGA/1777 was adopted by the East African Community Council of Ministers
on 14 June 2024.
