Description: Substitute Sanitary Technical Regulations for the control of
products for human use and consumption subject to sanitary control and
surveillance and considered to be counterfeit or substandard
By means of this Addendum No. 1, the Republic of Ecuador advises that
the amendment to the Substitute Sanitary Technical Regulations for the control
of products for use and consumption subject to sanitary control and
surveillance and considered to be counterfeit or substandard has been issued
pursuant to Resolution ARCSA-DE-2023-023-AKRG of 8 November 2023 by the
National Agency for Sanitary Regulation, Control and Surveillance (ARCSA,
Doctor Leopoldo Izquieta Pérez), in order to facilitate trade. The notified
Sanitary Technical Regulations will enter into force on the date of publication
in the Official Journal (27 November 2023).
