SUMMARY:
On 18 May 2023, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed a rule
titled "National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Plywood
and Composite Wood Products." The EPA is extending the comment period on
this proposed rule that currently closes on 3 July 2023, by 15 days. The
comment period will now remain open until 18 July 2023, to allow additional
time for stakeholders to review and comment on the proposal.
DATES:
The public comment period for the proposed rule published in the Federal
Register (FR) on 18 May 2023 (88 FR 31856), originally ending 3 July 2023, is being extended by 15
days. Written comments must be received on or before 18 July 2023.
This
extension of public comment period and the proposed rule notified under the
symbol G/TBT/N/USA/1529/Rev.1 are identified by Docket Number EPA-HQ-OAR-2016-0243. The
Docket Folder is available from Regulations.gov at https://www.regulations.gov/docket/EPA-HQ-OAR-2016-0243/document and provide access to primary and supporting documents as
well as comments received. Documents are also accessible from Regulations.gov by searching the Docket Number. WTO Members and their
stakeholders are asked to submit comments to the USA TBT Enquiry
Point. Comments received by the USA TBT
Enquiry Point from WTO Members and their stakeholders by 4pm Eastern Time on 18 July 2023 will be shared with the regulator and will
also be submitted to the Docket on Regulations.gov if received within the comment period.
