Addendum

The following communication, dated 14 January 2021, from the delegation of Indonesia to the Chairperson of the Dispute Settlement Body, is circulated pursuant to Article 21.6 of the DSU.

Indonesia submits this report pursuant to the Article 21.6 of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes (DSU).

Indonesia reiterates its commitment to implementing the recommendations and rulings of the DSB in these disputes. Indonesia also notes continued concerns raised by New Zealand and the United States especially on measure 1–17 in previous DSB meetings.

With respect to measure 18, as reported in the previous DSB meeting, the new Law that addresses this specific measure, namely Law No. 11/2020 on Job Creation, was promulgated on, and has entered into force since 2 November 2020. The Government is currently working on the implementing regulations of the Law.

Indonesia will continue to engage with New Zealand and the United States regarding matters related to the recommendations and rulings of the DSB.
