Description of content: This is the first
revision of GDS 74: 2003- Specification for Brewery Products.
This
draft National Standard specifies requirements for brewery products including
beer, stout, shandy and malta, to be sold or traded in Grenada. It is not
applicable to beverages that are not derived from cereals, sold under common
names including the words 'beer' and 'ale'.

Objective and rationale, including the nature of urgent problems where
applicable: Compulsory Status has been recommended to prevent deception from
misleading labels and to ensure that composition and quality of brewed
products manufactured or traded within Grenada are safe for human
consumption.
