Description of content: The notified draft Standard establishes the technical specifications for biodegradable paper bags to be used as packaging. It supplements the national regulations on packaging, namely Law 2015/09 of 21 April 2015 prohibiting plastic packaging with a thickness of less than 30 micrometres which is dangerous for the environment, by establishing the general characteristics and performance of and test methods for packaging.
