modification of the Agreement under Article 21.3(b) of the DSU

The following communication, dated 23 July 2015, from the delegation of China and the delegation of the United States to the Chairperson of the Dispute Settlement Body, is circulated in accordance with Article 21.3(b) of the DSU.

With regard to the dispute United States — Countervailing and Anti-dumping Measures on Certain Products from China (DS449), we are pleased to inform you that China and the United States have mutually agreed to modify the previously notified reasonable period of time for implementation of the recommendations and rulings of the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) pursuant to Article 21.3(b) of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes so as to expire on 5 August 2015.
