The following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6

Government Decision approving the Technical Regulation "Electrical Equipment Designed for
Use Within Certain Voltage Limits" (10 pages, in Romanian language)
6. Description of content: The purpose of this Technical Regulation is to ensure that
equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits placed on the market fulfil the
necessary requirements in order to provide a high level of safety for consumers.
7. Objective and rationale, including the nature of urgent problems where applicable:
The draft of the Technical Regulation is intended to exclude the outdated provisions
concerning the designation of conformity assessment bodies. Also, the document stipulates
new provisions related to the conformity assessment procedure - Module A. Additionally,
the draft specifies that all certified relevant products must contain the CE marking.

2014 on the Harmonisation of the Laws of the Member States Relating to the Making
Available on the Market of Electrical Equipment Designed for Use Within Certain
Voltage Limits (Recast);
Law of the Republic of Moldova no. 235 from 1 December 2011 on Accreditation and
Conformity Assessment.
