European Union – Measures on Atlanto-Scandian Herring

The following communication, dated 21 August 2014, from the delegation of Denmark in respect of the Faroe Islands and the delegation of the European Union to the Chairperson of the Dispute Settlement Body, is circulated at the request of these delegations.

The Kingdom of Demark in respect of the Faroe Islands and the European Union wish to inform the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) that the matter raised in "Measures on Atlanto-Scandian Herring" (WT/DS469) is settled.

The Parties ask that you circulate this notification to the relevant Councils and Committees as well as to the DSB. This notification is without prejudice to the rights and obligations of either of the Parties under the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization.
