COMMUNICATION FROM THE APPELLATE BODY

          The following notification, dated 16 May 2014, from the Chair of the Appellate Body addressed to the Chair of the Dispute Settlement Body, is circulated to Members in accordance with Article 17.5 of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes.

        By letter dated 24 March 2014, the Appellate Body informed the Dispute Settlement Body that it estimated that the Appellate Body Reports in these appeals would be circulated to WTO Members no later than Tuesday, 20 May 2014.

          Due to the time required for translation of the Appellate Body Reports and the caseload that the Appellate Body is currently facing, it will not be possible to circulate the Reports by 20 May 2014. The Appellate Body Reports in these appeals will be circulated to WTO Members on Thursday, 22 May 2014 in all official languages.
