Communication from Indonesia

The following communication, dated 15 January 2014, from the delegation of Indonesia to the delegation of the European Union, the delegation of Argentina and to the Chairperson of the Dispute Settlement Body, is circulated in accordance with Article 4.11 of the DSU.

Pursuant to Article 4.11 of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes (DSU), the Government of Indonesia notifies the European Union, Argentina, and the Dispute Settlement Body of its desire to be joined in the consultations requested by Argentina in European Union – Anti-Dumping Measures on Biodiesel from Argentina, as set out in the communication circulated to WTO Members on 8 January 2014 (WT/DS473/1).

Indonesia has a substantial trade interest in this dispute as a major producer and exporter of biodiesel products to the European Union that are also subject to EU anti‑dumping measures.
