Agreement under Article 21.3(b) of the DSU

        The following communication, dated 14 June 2012, from the delegation of Indonesia and the delegation of the United States to the Chairperson of the Dispute Settlement Body, is circulated in accordance with Article 21.3(b) of the DSU.

        We wish to inform you that, pursuant to Article 21.3(b) of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes, Indonesia and the United States have agreed that the reasonable period of time for the United States to implement the recommendations and rulings of the Dispute Settlement Body ("DSB") in the dispute United States – Measures Affecting the Production and Sale of Clove Cigarettes (DS406) shall be 15 months from the 24 April 2012 date of adoption of the DSB recommendations and rulings.  Accordingly, the reasonable period of time expires on 24 July 2013.

        We request that you circulate this notification to the Members of the DSB.
