Communication from the Chairman of the Panel

The following communication, dated 3 August 2007, and addressed to the Dispute Settlement Body, is circulated in accordance with Article 12.12 of the Dispute Settlement Understanding ("DSU").

            In a letter dated 31 July 2007, addressed to Mr. Felipe Jaramillo, Chairman of the Panel, the Government of Argentina has requested the Panel to suspend its work, in accordance with Article 12.12 of the DSU.  The Panel has agreed to this request and will suspend its work until further notice.
