Status Report Regarding Implementation of the Recommendations and Rulings

of the DSB in Chile – Price Band System and Safeguard Measures

Relating to Certain Agricultural Products (WT/DS207)

            Pursuant to Article 21.6 of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes (DSU), Chile hereby presents a new status report in the dispute Chile - Price Band System and Safeguard Measures Relating to Certain Agricultural Products (WT/DS207).

            Since the previous report of 8 March 2004, there has been no progress within the meaning of Article 21.6 of the DSU. The two parties have held talks to clarify the scope of the measures adopted by Chile in compliance with the recommendations and rulings of the DSB in this dispute. 

            I should be grateful if you would include this status report in the agenda of the next DSB meeting on 20 April 2004.
