CERTIFICATION OF MODIFICATIONS AND
RECTIFICATIONS TO
SCHEDULE CLXVII – Lao People's Democratic Republic
TRANSMISSION OF CERTIFIED TRUE COPY
WHEREAS
the CONTRACTING PARTIES to the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1947
adopted, on 26 March 1980, a Decision on Procedures for Modification and
Rectification of Schedules of Tariff Concessions (BISD 27S/25);
WHEREAS
in accordance with the provisions of the above-mentioned Decision, a draft
containing modifications and rectifications to Schedule CLXVII – Lao People's Democratic
Republic was
communicated to all Members of the World Trade Organization in document
G/MA/TAR/RS/662 on 25 November 2021, pursuant to the Ministerial Declaration on Trade in Information
Technology Products (WT/MIN(96)/16), and no objections to the proposed modifications and rectifications were
received within three months from the date of issue of the aforementioned document;
WHEREAS
on 25 March 2022, the Lao People's Democratic Republic notified the Director‑General
of the World Trade Organization that its internal procedures had been completed
(G/MA/TAR/RS/662/Add.1);
IT
IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that the modifications and rectifications to Schedule CLXVII – Lao People's
Democratic Republic are established in conformity with the above-mentioned Decision and are
effective as of 25 March 2022.
I
hereby furnish a certified true copy of the above-mentioned modifications and
rectifications to each Member of the World Trade Organization. This
certification shall be registered in accordance with the provisions of Article
102 of the Charter of the United Nations.
