The following communication, dated 24 September
2020, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of the Japan.

Japan recognizes that rice importers are required to obtain import
permission from the Ministry of Trade, according to the Regulation of the
Ministry of Trade No. 1 of 2018. However, Indonesia did not include the rice
import licensing system in the notification on 28 February 2020
(G/LIC/N/3/IDN/11).
