INTRODUCTION OF HARMONIZED SYSTEM 2017 CHANGES TO SCHEDULES OF CONCESSIONS USING THE CONSOLIDATED TARIFF SCHEDULES (CTS) DATABASE

Communication from the Secretariat

Pursuant to Paragraph 13 of "A Procedure for the Introduction of Harmonized System 2017 changes to schedules of concessions using the Consolidated Tariff Schedules (CTS) Database" (WT/L/995), adopted by the General Council on 7 December 2016, the Secretariat would like to inform Members that it has posted the following draft HS2017 files to the Tariff Analysis Online (TAO) Facility[1]:

2.            Angola

3.            Central African Republic

4.            Chad

5.            Djibouti

6.            Guinea-Bissau

7.            Haiti

8.            Lesotho

9.            Mozambique

10.         Myanmar

11.         Rwanda

12.         Senegal

13.         Sierra Leone

14.         Tanzania

15.         The Gambia

16.         Togo

17.         Vanuatu

18.      Zambia

Pursuant to paragraph 13 of the aforementioned Procedures, a multilateral review of these files will take place in the context of an informal dedicated session of the Committee on Market Access, at the earliest six weeks from the date of this communication.
