World Trade Organization WT/BOP/R/81 21 October 2005 (05-4842) Report (2005) of the committee on balance-of-payments restrictions The Committee met three times in 2005 under the Chairmanship of Mr. Víctor Echevarría Ugarte (Spain). In his capacity as a Friend of the Director-General, the Chairman held two meetings, on 26 April and 19 July 2005, in order to inform the Committee of the status of consultations on outstanding implementation issues under paragraph 12(b) of the Doha Ministerial Declaration. A non-paper circulated by the Chairman described the status of his consultations (JOB(05)/60 dated 22 April 2005). The reports of these meetings are contained in WT/BOP/R/78 and WT/BOP/R/79. On 14 October 2005, the Committee met to hold its fourth annual review under China's Transitional Review Mechanism in accordance with paragraph 18 of China's Protocol of Accession.
