Description of content: This standard covers the sample description, characteristics, sampling, inspection and tests, placing on the market procedures of textile -wool woven fabrics used for apparel.

This standard does not apply to fabrics used in clothing accessories (necktie etc.) and fabrics for decoration (upholstery, drapery, drape etc.)

Objective and rationale, including the nature of urgent problems where applicable: The purpose of this communiqué is to identify issues related to the implementation of revision of TS 2793 (April 2017) "Textile-wool woven fabrics for apparel use" standard.
