Revision

This report, prepared for the first Trade Policy Review of the West African Economic and Monetary Union, has been drawn up by the WTO Secretariat on its own responsibility. The Secretariat has, as required by the Agreement establishing the Trade Policy Review Mechanism (Annex 3 of the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization), sought clarification from the member countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union on their trade policies and practices.
