Lifting
of the temporary ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their
products including poultry meat, day-old chicks, eggs from Krapinsko-zagorska
in Croatia to the United Arab Emirates

The
United Arab Emirates is lifting the ban on the importation of domestic and
wild birds and their products including poultry meat, day-old chicks and eggs
originating from Croatia. This follows the publishing of the Final report
(Follow-up report No. 10) of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Croatia on
7 June 2017, and in compliance with Article 10.4.4, Chapter 10.4 of the OIE
Terrestrial Animal Health Code, Croatia is now free from Highly Pathogenic
Avian Influenza disease. The risk of contamination from importing poultry and
poultry products from Croatia is negligible now.
