The following communication, received on 6 July 2017, is being circulated at the request of the
Delegation of the European Union.

1. In response to the Secretariat's request in document G/SPS/W/101, the European Union
hereby submits information on the technical assistance provided to other countries during 2015-
2016, in accordance with Article 9 of the Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and
Phytosanitary Measures.
