CHAIRMAN'S STATEMENT AT THE RECENT SECRETARIAT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
WORKSHOP ON GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT FOR LATIN AMERICA1
In the course of the Committee's informal meeting held on 21 June 2017, the Chairman asked the
Secretariat to circulate to delegations his remarks, delivered on 4 May 2017, at the WTO Advanced
Regional Workshop on Government Procurement for Latin American Countries held in Buenos
Aires, Argentina on 3-5 May 2017. The Workshop was organized by the Secretariat, in cooperation
with the government of Argentina, for the benefit of the countries of Latin America,
pursuant to the Secretariat's technical assistance and training plan (WT/COMTD/W/211).
