DA MO No. 02, Series of 2016: Lifting the
temporary ban on the importation of domestic and wild birds and their
products including poultry meat, day old chicks,eggs and semen originating
from Dixon County, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota, United States

The Department of Agriculture (DA) issued Memorandum
Order (MO) No. 02, series of 2016, lifting the temporary ban on the
importation of domestic and wild birds and their products including poultry
meat, day old chicks,eggs and semen originating from Dixon County, Nebraska,
Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota, United States of America which was imposed
per MO No. 21, series of 2015 due to the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian
influenza (HPAI). DA MO No. 21 took effect on 23 April 2015.
