COMMUNICATION FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF THE APPELLATE BODY
TO THE CHAIRMAN OF THE DISPUTE SETTLEMENT BODY

        The following communication, dated 3 July 2015, from the Chairman of the Appellate Body to the Chairman of the Dispute Settlement Body, is circulated to Members together with the Appellate Body Annual Report for 2014.

        I have the honour to send herewith a copy of the Appellate Body Report for 2014. The English version of the Annual Report has been circulated to WTO Members as document WT/AB/24, and it will also be posted on the WTO website. We expect the French and Spanish versions of the document to be circulated in the next few weeks.

        The Annual Report for 2014 contains information about the composition of the Appellate Body, the appeals filed and the Appellate Body Reports circulated during this year, and the participation of WTO Members in appeals. It also outlines the activities undertaken by the Appellate Body and its Secretariat during 2014. Its structure is similar to the Annual Reports issued since 2003.

        We trust that the Annual Report will provide useful information to WTO Members about the work of the Appellate Body.
