updating NOTIFICATION PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XVII:4(A) OF THE
GATT 1994 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF THE UNDERSTANDING ON
THE INTERPRETATION OF ARTICLE XVII

Malawi

The following communication, dated 18 June 2015, is being circulated at the request of the Delegation of Malawi.

Pursuant to Article XVII:4(a) of the GATT 1994, and Paragraph 1 of the Understanding on the Interpretation of Article XVII, and in response to the notification requirements contained in documents G/STR/N/5, G/STR/N/8 and G/STR/N/9, the Government of the Republic of Malawi hereby wishes to notify that it does not maintain any state trading enterprises falling within the meaning of the working definition contained in the above-mentioned Understanding.
