The Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency
(QIA), Ministry for Agriculture, Food and Rural Affair (MAFRA) of the
Republic of Korea, has added parts of a host plant of Radopholus similis, one
of the prohibited quarantine pests of the Republic of Korea, which is based
on the result of Pest Risk Analysis (PRA).
The import of plants for planting
(including cuttings and scions) of Anthurium spp.* from the
regions specified below, will be prohibited from the consignment with
phytosanitary a certificate, shipped on and after 30 December 2014.
* Fresh underground part of all the regulated host plants has already
been prohibited.
