1.1. At the 43rd Session of
the Working Group on Trade and Transfer of Technology held on 4 July 2013
Members agreed to hold a Workshop on Trade and Transfer of Technology at the WTO,
based on a communication from Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico and Peru (WT/WGTTT/W/19/Rev.2).
This workshop will be held on Monday 16 June 2014.
1.2. The workshop is being organized
around two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, both of which
will involve officials from WTO Members, Observer countries, experts from
intergovernmental organizations and representatives from the academia. Each
sub-session will have three/four speakers with a moderator facilitating the
discussion.
1.3. The tentative programme is as
