WORK PROGRAMME ON ELECTRONIC COMMERCE
Report by the Chairman of the Council for Trade in Services to the General Council
Pursuant to the 2011 Ministerial Decision instructing the General Council in its session of December 2012 to review progress on the Work Programme on Electronic Commerce, the Council for Trade in Services agreed on 6 December 2012 that I should make this report to the General Council, on my own responsibility.
Since its last report to the General Council, the Council for Trade in Services discussed the Work Programme on Electronic Commerce at its meetings of 5 October and 6 December 2012, pursuant to the Ministerial mandate to continue the intensive reinvigoration of that work.
Following-up on the earlier discussions, deliberations focused in particular on a communication by the
European Union focusing on an information and communication tec
