NINTH DECISION ON THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE FIFTH PROTOCOL
Adopted by the Council for Trade in Services on 5 October 2012
The Council for Trade in Services,
Having regard to the Fifth Protocol to the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS),
Having regard to the communication from Jamaica (S/C/W/346),
Notwithstanding the Decision on the acceptance of the Fifth Protocol to the GATS adopted by the Council on 15 February 1999 (S/L/68),
Decides as follows,
The Fifth Protocol shall be reopened for acceptance by Jamaica from the date of this decision until 4 December 2012. The Protocol shall enter into force for Jamaica as from the date of such acceptance.
